How can I freeze or stop interaction of the background MATLAB and SIMULINK windows until my dialog(progressbar) is open?

while my progressbar is running I want to disable or block interaction with the toolbar or whole background. How can I achieve it?

Could you attach a gif showing what exactly you are expecting? And, please explain the reason behind expecting such a behaviour.

I am still not sure of the use-case of the this desired behaviour. Is it creating some hindrance in your workflow? Could you let me know the details?

You can use uiwait to block the execution of MATLAB and SIMULINK.

uiwait stops the execution of further things and not the previous window.
