Can non-atomic subsystems be converted to referenced models?

I thought a subsystem would need to be atomic before being converted to a referenced model. However, I see that this isn't the case. When a subsystem is converted to a referenced model, is it effectively treated as atomic, in terms of block execution order, during simulation?

I understand that you want to know whether a non-atomic subsystem can be converted into a reference model.
Non-atomic subsystems cannot be converted into reference models.All reference models are inherently atomic in nature,which means non-atomic subsystems are not eligible for conversion into reference models.
