I'm working with Arduino and Matlab for the analysis of the GSR electrodermal response. I need to separate the phasic component from the tonic but I can't write the appropriate code. Could I help you ask?

Separating the phasic from the tonic components involves developing respective low-pass and high-pass filters and applying them to the EDA signal obtained. These filters can be created using the butter function. More information is available in the following documentation:
Additionally, the MATLAB Central File Exchange provides an implementation of this process, which can be found here: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/68502-ledalab-open-source-matlab-software-for-analysis-of-skin-conductance-data-viz-eda-gsr.
Hope this helps.
