In Matlab GUI, Is it possible to show values of output matrix in edit box?

Mat1=[CM11 CM12 CM13; CM21 CM22 CM23 ]; Mat2=[DM1 : DM2 ; DM3]; Mat3=Mat1*Mat2

to display matrix value i am thinking to use edit box from GUI.

 set(handles.edit20,'String',num2str(Mat3));

tell me suggestions to do it, if it is possible.

the easiest way to show the ouput of a matrix is to set it as data in an uitable

set(handles.uitable,'Data',Mat3);

trying to set a matrix in an edit text box seems very contra-intuitive
