Run matlab 2012a (either 32/64) in Windows 8.1

How to run matlab 2012a (either 32/64) in Windows 8.1? Want to run simulink model in accelerator mode but lack of compiler. Tried SDK 7.1 but install failed. Followed instructions in the link but didn't work.

You may need to uninstall .NET 4.5, install SDK 7.1, and reinstall .NET 4.5; see http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/101105-how-do-i-install-microsoft-windows-sdk-7-1

Yes I tried to uninstall .NET 4.5 but still unsuccessful in install the SDK 7.1.
