Simscape PMSM: WYE Connected Capacitor Bank with Resistive Load

Hi,

I am Simulating a PMSM with a WYE Connected Capacitor Bank (2mH) with Resistive Load (1 Ohms each phase). This is for power factor correction. My simulation results indicate that I have made a error with building the capacitor bank and load in Simscape.

Any guidance would be great.

Hi,

I have modified the Simscape blocks to describe the WYE-Connected capacitor bank with resistive load. The phase waveforms are improved, however they show harmonics. Is the below configuration correct to allow a power factor correction study?
