App designer white parts are not editable

I have buit an app using app desigener 9 months ago using MATLAB 2024a and had it on my gitlab. Now when I clone the code I cannot edit the functions in the Code View (I am not trying to edit grey part but the white part which is the code I have written before).

Strangely when I type something on my commmand window I get the change to edit one line in the app designer but apart from that I cannot edit it. I believe thats a big bug in MATLAB
