Error opening previous version of App Designer app - Error in executing callback registered with ViewModel:

When I try to edit my app it is updating from 2020b to 2025a and then gives the following error. Additionally, the UI looks strange the the codeview is full of errors seeming to indicate the app code did not properly get converted.

Error in executing callback registered with ViewModel:

Children may only be set to a permutation of itself.

Error in matlab.ui.internal.DesignTimeUIFigureController/flushCoalescer (line 392)

matlab.internal.yield("ViewModelCommit");

I believe I have previously edited the app in 2025a, but I'm not 100% certain.

Yes. Thank you, Walter. I should have mentioned that link as well. Hopefully there is some work-around, but in the mean time I will follow the advice in the link and submit a bug report.
