My program developed in App Designer is not fully functional in Runtime

Does anyone know why my program developed in App Designer is not working properly within Runtime? Is that because I have some codes interacting with the command windows, e.g., disp functions?

What does "not working properly" mean in this context?

• Do you receive warning and/or error messages? If so the full and exact text of those messages may be useful in determining what's going on and how to avoid the warning and/or error.
• Does it do something different than what you expected? If so, what did it do and what did you expect it to do?
• Did MATLAB crash? If so please send the crash log file (with a description of what you were running or doing in MATLAB when the crash occured) to Technical Support so we can investigate.

Are you possibly calling functions that cannot be compiled using MATLAB Compiler? For example, nothing in the Symbolic Toolbox can be compiled.

The use of disp won't be the problem, however; if you compiled without the console window, it won't be visible, but the code will still run.

You could try recompiling and not use the mcc "-e" option which will then also open a console window when run the app and then the command window output will be visible. If use the interactive tool inside App Designer to do the compilation instead of a command line, there is an option to uncheck under the "Additional runtime settings" section to do that. It may also be helpful in that error messages to the command window will be visible although the console will only be visible while the app is running so if it crashes, may have to be quick to see them...
