I installed Simulink, and Simulink Support Package for Parrot Minidrone into R2024b on my MacOS Intel. I was able to start parrotMinidroneCompetitionStart without difficulty (though it did fail because I do not have Aerospace toolbox installed.)

The Simulink Support Package for Parrot Minidrone is free itself. However, using the Add-On Explorer requires that your Software Maintenance Service contract is up-to-date.
The Simulink Support Package for Parrot Minidrone requires Simulink to run. Simulink is an extra cost package. Simulink is included in the MATLAB Student Suite bundle, but is not automatically included in any other package. However, it is very common for it to be included in Campus Wide licenses (formerly called Total Academic Headcount licenses.)
If you have a MATLAB Student license that is not Student Suite then you need to purchase a Simulink license to make use of the Simulink Support Package for Parrot Minidrone package.
