How do I disable rapid accelerator mode so I can build an exe from simulink?

I tried to build a standalone app and it keeps aborting due to "Rapid accelerator mode" errors.
Error generating the app
Caused by:
  • Unable to build a standalone executable to simulate the model 'TestBuild2' in rapid accelerator mode.
  • Error(s) encountered while building "TestBuild2"

https://www.mathworks.com/help/simulink/ug/performing-acceleration.html implies that you set the APPS "Acceleration" setting to "Normal" or "Accelerator"
