The error message "The requested operation requires elevation" is generated by Windows and indicates that because of security settings placed on your computer, someone with administrator privileges must run the installer.
To resolve this, right-click the MATLAB installer and select Run as administrator, as indicated below:
If prompted, enter your computer’s administrator username and password (not your MathWorks account), then proceed with the installation. If you do not have administrator access, please contact your IT department or system administrator for help.
