I currently have developed a video processing program in python using opencv and wanted to extend the project by deploying the code onto a SpeedGoat Professional Hardware. Is it possible to do that directly or do I have to covert the python code into Matlab/Simulink blocks and then deploy it.

I think it is likely that you will need to convert it. Deploying code involves compiling it to C or C++, which is not going to work for Python.

Hi Ashish,
To run libraries like OpenCV on Speedgoat, they must be compiled for the operating system that Speedgoat uses, which currently is Blackberry QNX, see: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/1721085-can-i-use-custom-libraries-dll-lib-so-a-with-simulink-real-time-and-speedgoat
Running Python code on Speedgoat isn't directly possible either, as Walter said.
However, I recommend opening a support ticket with MathWorks to explore options for deploying vision algorithms to Speedgoat: https://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us.html
You can also reach out to Speedgoat to get suggestions for suitable hardware I/O modules for your specific application: https://www.speedgoat.com/company/contact-us
