Tab suggestion​/autocompl​etion does not work when running MATLAB R2025b on Windows 11 with -nodesktop option

I've been using MATLAB on Linux Mint with -nodesktop option and it works perfectly, however, I am trying to do the same thing with R2025b on Windows 11 and the tab suggestion/autocompletion does not work. For example, when I try to change a directory I have to manually type the entire path rather than simply hitting the Tab key to autocomplete. Also, when looking for a function, say plot, if I try to type 'pl' followed by TAB, it won't do anything. Is there a solution to this? I really do not like having to use the GUI for most of my work.

I would suggest you to report this bug to MathWorks technical support at Contact Support > Product Usage > Report a Bug.
