Why does GT-SUITE crash MATLAB?

I have used GT-SUITE (GT-POWER) for two-way co-simulation with Simulink, but in R2025a GT-SUITE's S-function causes a crash. How can I fix this?

There is a known incompatibility (EBR 3920164) for certain version combinations of MATLAB and GT-SUITE. It impacts GT-SUITE v2025 or older co-simulating with any of the following:

• MATLAB R2025a
• MATLAB R2025b Update 3 or earlier

To fix this issue, update to MATLAB R2025b Update 4 or newer.
