No more machine transfers available

Gentlemen:

Had license 4XXXXXXX on an older laptop that had a power supply failure.

Tried to reinstall on a newer laptop but when activating I am getting a "No more machine transfers available" message.

How should I proceed?

If you're a license administrator, you can deactivate one of the installations from the License Center.

That will not help in this particular situation.

You should contact Mathworks support.

The Terms of Use place a limit on the number of times you are allowed to transfer the licenses between machines in a time period. If you exceed that limit you may get the error you indicate.

Historically, Mathworks has been willing to waive this limit upon presentation of proof of repair of a computer.
