IVI-COM on 64-Bit Matlab

Hello!

I am working with some measurement devices like Agilent 33220A AWG using their dedicated IVI-COM driver. This is working just fine with the 32-Bit Matlab (R2013b).

Now we need to do a switch to the 64-Bit version of Matlab R2013b and the devices/drivers do not work. I receive the error message "Custom interface is not supported on a 64-bit version of MATLAB".

I did a little bit of investigation on the internet and found basically two articles:

In those it is written that IVI-COM does not work on a 64-Bit Matlab. But unfortunately I could not find further information...

Can you tell me:

• Will the IVI-COM be supported (again) in a future version of 64-Bit Matlab.
• How to work around for still being able to work with my devices / drivers.
