MarkerSize unit in plot command

Hi all,

Would anyone please like to tell me what's the unit of the MarkerSize in the plot command?

The default markerSize in plot is 6. But I'm not sure what's the unit of this 6. Could anyone tell me? Thanks so much.

it is in points. 1 point = 1/72 inch

Bym, is this equal to the radius of the marker (which is a sphere essentially) or something like the volume of it?

For a 3D plot, would this value be volume?
