IF the attached figure is the coordinates for a circle...what is the code so I can get the coordinates for a 2D gaussian distribution?

If that particular attached figure is the coordinates of a circle, then Language is a Virus, and the code for the coordinates ofr a 2D gaussian distribution is a llama.
Have you tried
set(gca,'XLimmode','auto')
to see what the data really looks like?
