If your question has no answer, should you delete your question or answer to it assuming you were able to find a solution?

Hello. This might be a foolish question.

If I have a number of unanswered questions of my own and manage to solve some of the problems, should I delete the question or provide my solution for future reference for others?

This is a public resource, it contains information that can be searched, referenced and used by anyone online... and if your solution might be useful to others then you should feel free to answer your own questions.

Note that there are often many ways of solving problems, so please don't be too hasty in accepting your own solutions... someone might find a neater way to do it, and everyone can learn from that :)
