How do I launch MatLab on Windows using X11?

I'm trying to open matlab on the HPC using Putty and X11 forwarding (with Xming), but getting this error:
why won't it work?

The error has nothing to do with X11 and all of that. The error simply says that matlab is not found. This means you do not have Matlab in your Unix path.
