Opening PCIDSK ".PIX" hyperspectral files in Matlab multibandread.

The multibandread function seems to misread certain PCI ".pix" files.
here's an example of what I'm using:
A1 = multibandread('Image.pix',[2000, 2000, 90],'uint16', 0,'bip', 'ieee-be');
I’ve found that I can read the files but they seem to have an “offset” on each band (for example, if there were 150 bands in the image and the pixels in the top row have a maximum spectral intensity on band #1, the pixels on the second row will have the maximum intensity shifted to band #50, and the next row will have it on band #100 and then it will begin again at #1). This creates black lines across each single band image.
Does anyone know any way to fix this or what I'm doing wrong?

Sorry that was an unfortunate typo in my question, in the code its uint16
