Capturing and saving images from webcam connected to raspberry pi (Simulink)

Hi all, I have connected a usb webcam to my raspberry pi. Using the V4L2 video capture Block I was able to obtain a live feed from the webcam which is connected to the pi. Is there a way to obtain images and save them from a webcam connected to a raspberry pi, using simulink? Thanks

http://www.mathworks.com/help/imaq/image-acquisition-in-simulink.html "should" be able to use the V4L2 driver.
