Combining Eigenfaces and Neural Networks

I'm currently trying to develop a face recognition software using eigenfaces and neural networks. I'm confused as to how to implement the neural networks. Do I have to insert those eigenvalues into the neural networks? Can anyone teach me how it works? Thanks in advance
