How to Pick random edges in an image and draw a line.

Hello all. I am trying to pick two random edges in a binary image and draw a line connecting the two edges.My question is how can I randomly pick any two edges in a binary image. Also, after picking the two random edges I want to join them with line using slope intercept form y=mx+c. Hope you can help me. Thanks.
