how to write 3D Non-linear Truss matlab code using newton-raphson method?

I am writing a code for 3D truss analysis of carbon-nanotube structure but I have to use Newton-Raphson method which makes it a non-linear truss, so pl point me toward some journal or a published paper that can help me (you may explain yourself).
