Browsing multiple files & displaying names in static text box

Hi, I am browsing multiples files using uiget,but i am getting a numerical value in the static text box rather then getting the file name.

[filename pathname]=uigetfile({'*.txt'},'File Selector');

set(handles.text9, 'String', text)

set(handles.text10, 'String', text)

text() is a built-in function, so of course what won't work. You need to pass in the actual cell array of all the filenames that the user selected. Is that "filename"? Have you looked at what values filenames has?
