Remove temporary install directory?

Hello everybody, after installation of R2015b I found these two new directories inside my Download folder in Windows 7:
_temp_matlab_R2015b_win64 that seems to contain installation files;
Mathworks that contains another folder called R2015b, that again contains another folders called archives
I would like if it is safe to delete these two folders, or at least the first one, to save space in my hard disk.

You should be able to delete all download installation files after the installation is complete. Anything that Matlab needs to run will be in a proper location after the install, rather than your downloads folder.

How about the other folder "Mathworks" that it created in the downloads area? It is 5.6GB in my case. Is it deleteable too?

Aravind: Yes, it can be deleted too.
Note: some of these directories act as cache for MATLAB installation, so if you ever have reason to go back into the installer, MATLAB might need to re-download some or all of these. But Yes, you can delete them.

After installation, you can delete _temp_matlab_R2015b_win64.
