Time accuracy in microseconds in Matlab

I am implementing PTP(IEEE 1588) protocol in Matlab and for that i need time to be in Microseconds. I know matlab can handle time in milliseconds precisely. Any ideas how i can do that, Because i need to measure cputime in microseconds. Your help would be highly appreciated.
