divide a range

hi. i have a range that is between a min and a max. i want to divide this range into equal ranges and take the middle of this ranges.for example suppose i have a this values: min=20 max=50 i want to divide this range into 3 equal range:(20:30,30:40,40:50) my interest is to take this the middle of this ranges as vector: (25,35,45) what would be the possible algorithm tanks a lot
