imageSet function with internal image ?

Hello :)

I'm writting a program which select appropriated images from a video, and then analyze them. To do so, I would like to create a set of images.

My 1st solution :

I extracted the images from the video, saved them as TIFF files on my laptop, and then used the imageSet function by specifying the path to the images. Things work perfectly, but it is slow when I am extracting lots of images.

I would like to create an image set without having to save the images, which is time consuming ;) I am thinking of doing a 4D matrix M( : , : , : , i ), containing i images. But then, how to make an image set from this matrix ?

I got all the data in the matrix M, and can display easily all images, but I've got not idea about how to create an image set... I don't even know if it is possible !

So, if ever you've got an idea on this, let me know !!
