Is there and example of running multiple license files from one server

Trying to concatenate two license files, R2015b & R2016a. Both are activated to the same hostid. So, when adding r2016a lic file to R2015b lic file, where exactly do I cut and then paste. Cut at and include the "BEGIN...BEGIN...BEGIN" or first "increment". Paste under the "END.....END.....END"?
