How to move tektronix spectrum analyzer data into MATLAB

I am a grad student and working on my thesis. My thesis is to build SDR with MATLAB. Now, I am working on how to move real time spectrum analyzer data into MATLAB. Any help, suggestions/ideas would be appreciated.
