Can multiple users acces a running matlab process?

I have a very long process that I want multiple windows users to access while it is running. Can this be done?

Not directly, no.
If you have the Instrument Control Toolbox, or use one of the workarounds, then you can put in TCP or UDP code that allows MATLAB to act like a server. You would have to program in the sending of graphics information.
On Windows, you can configure a MATLAB session as an Automation Server. That allows it to be connected to by way of Active-X. If I recall correctly, all of the active sessions run in the same process; I always wondered how it kept the sessions straight. During the time it is busy computing any one result, I would not expect it to be accepting new connections or commands, only queuing them.
There is certainly no equivalent to having multiple Variable Browsers or Command Window for a MATLAB session.

I suspected that this was the case but I though it was worth a try.
Thanks
