Simulink Rapid Accerelator Input signal

I am using the Rapid Accerelator Target in Simulink for bulk simulations over manu loops in MATLAB.

1.) It seems to me that technically the rapid accerelator executeable contains all parameters including input from "From Workspace" blocks. Is this true? At least there are huge *.c files containing data in the directory. In this case I would expect that the target would need to be rebuilt when some parameter/input signal changes. Is this true?

Will this be done automatically, i.e., can I be sure that Simulink always uses the correct target and automatcially rebuilds if anything changes? E.g. in my scripts I see:

### Building the rapid accelerator target for model: benches
### Successfully built the rapid accelerator target for model: benches

On the other hand, I have another model where I do not see these messages although the input data sure changes as well!
