How to remove Camera Captured Flash Shadow in a Document.

as Shown in the image, it is captured by camera, while pre-processing the image to an black and white(binary) image faceing the problem with flash shadow(glare) around the edges of the image.. please suggest me.

Try my OCR demo, attached. Change it to work with your image and see how it goes.

Better yet, avoid the problem in the first place by either using a flatbed scanner, or using crossed polarizers.
