Hi every one,
I'm new user of matlab. I'm doing a project and I have data to be converted to equation for further implementation in project.
I already have data extracted from graph. data table contains 5 i/p and 1 o/p.
eg:
i/p o/p
a b c d e -> f
Number of data sample vary from 2000 to 25000. As that is big collectively, I would like to convert this data in equation form so that, its implementation is faster in application.
how should i go about in converting this data to equation. kindly help me in this regard.

Unless you have a model of what the form of the equation should be, the best you can do is to create a piecewise equation or a one written using heaviside() . Those equations are seldom useful.
If you do have a model of the form of the equation, you can do curvefitting to estimate any unknown parameters. In the case where the equation is polynomial there are more efficient methods using the \ operator.

sreeni ns's "Answer" moved here:
Yes i have thought of it(making equation piece wise). Im ready to do the same and graph model is polynomial. As I dont know how to use matlab, my request is if someone help me generating equation.

If you show your plotting code then we may be able to come up with the equation.
