Voronoi regions of line segment sites

My question continues from one found here. I'm looking for a method to get the Voronoi regions' boundaries of line segment sites (not points), similar to page 8 of this presentation.

Searching through functions and tutorials of the Mapping Toolbox have not aligned with that objective. Since the inputs are vectors, avoiding an image-based approximation is preferred.

Is this type of GIS computation offered in MATLAB?

Currently, I'm using Delaunay Triangulation with additional points along edges and adding the triangles' circumcenters to the DT. While a good approximation, it is a time and memory hog, ultimately not capturing the only details I really care about: the boundary regions.
