How can I process the laser profiles of an scanned object for a 3D reconstruction in matlab?

Hello, I'm in my final undergraduate project, I was reading the mathworks support from other users, and find that are many questions about 2d to 3d reconstruction with laser, but my point is that I need help with the initial steps of the reconstruction.
First I have extracted the frames video and detected laser stripes of the red laser lightsource on the object with a threshold and also I have made an skeletonization of this object profiles with matlab R2011.
Then the point is that I don't know actually how to work with this images, what is the next step?, I have made the camera calibration with the matlab toolbox, and the web camera parameters are know but I don´t understand how to advance. Thank you

There is nothing for converting wiggly laser lines over a 3-D surface into a 3-D surface model of the whole object. You'll have to build it up from lower level functions according to some algorithm, like from a paper you find. You might find some papers here in this link, but sorry, we can't help you turn that paper into code - that's your job.
