Import Spline from SOLIDWORKS into MATLAB

I have tried to export a SOLIDWORKS sketch as a dxf or dwg file and imported it into MATLAB, but with little success. All I want is some sort of equation or a set of data points for the spline I sketched in SolidWorks so that someone else can use it in MATLAB.

------- Side Note: The only solution I found that has worked is drawing the data points in SOLIDWORKS and exporting the file into excel and then plotting the data in MATLAB using polyfit and polyval. I need a much less tedious process because we are going to be doing a lot of this! I have also looked at commercial solutions but I do not want to pay for a temporary project.
