problem connecting to webcam

When I run cam=webcam, I get the following error:
Warning: The following error was caught while executing 'matlab.webcam.internal.WebcamController' class destructor: Struct contents reference from a non-struct array object. In webcam (line 159) Error starting the webcam stream.
What can I do to fix this problem?
