Is the equality min(a/(b+1), c/(d+1))=min(a,c)/(min(b,d)+1) hold?

Dear Altruist,
With the Matlab simulation i.e numerically I can prove that the following equality holds.
min(a/(b+1), c/(d+1))=min(a,c)/(min(b,d)+1), where a, b, c, d are the variables.
Can anyone please prove that the above equality holds through the mathematical derivation?
Thanks in advance Kader

It does not hold. Try
a = 1; b = 8; c = 4; d = 3;
min(a/(b+1), c/(d+1))
min(a,c)/(min(b,d)+1),

So, is there any possible condition can be provided for which it holds?

Possibly. However, this has nothing to do with matlab, so would need to be asked on a math forum.
