How to Configure AUTOSAR Variants for runnable using VARIANT SOURCE bloc?

I am trying to configure variant condition for a runnable using VARIANT SOURCE block in Matlab R2016a. But ARXML is not generating corresponding condition.
Can anybody help please.

The model must be created by importing ARXML file containing component descriptions for Simulink to preserve the variation points.
If a model is not created by importing ARXML , then it will only contain variation point proxies which ensure correct code generation.
