I have a student license. How many simultaneous activations may I have?

Student license provides one activation.

Downloads are not a problem. Simultaneous activations are the limitation.
The limitations have changed over time, so you need to consult your license.txt or license_agreement.txt file in your installation directory. Look for a section titled "The MathWorks, Inc. Software License Agreement - Academic Installation and Use Addendum "
You also need to know what license type you have, and you need to know whether your institution has some kind of bulk agreement with Mathworks (there are some countries where most universities have such an agreement, and there are other countries were few do.)
For example, if you happen to be covered under a Total Academic Headcount license type, then at least under the R2016a license terms, you would be covered by:
3.1.5. Total Academic Headcount. Programs may be installed and used by
Licensed Users both on institution-owned or leased Computers and on
personally-owned or leased Computers. Technical support is available
for faculty and academic staff, but not for students.
where-as for Academic license Standalone Named User
3.2.1. Standalone Named User. Program use is restricted to the single,
designated Named User. Programs may be activated and used on one or
more individual Computers, provided the Programs are only accessible
to, and used by, the Named User for that License. The physical
locations of the Computers used by the Named User to run the Programs
are not limited; the Computers may be located at work, home, in a
laboratory, or on a laptop.
but the Network Concurrent User is much more restrictive.

Thanks for your reply. It says "Total Headcount"
-Does this mean that I can download Matlab in other computers with no restriction?
-Does this mean there is a number of times I can do it until I run out of opportunities?
-Does this mean that I can do it for a limited number of times but if I want to use an extra device I can uninstall one of them and download it again?
Thanks!

As far as I understand, there is no restriction against using a Total Academic Headcount license on multiple computers, but possibly the limit is 4 activated computers per user -- that is not entirely clear from the license text.
