identifier "XYZ" is undefined

hi, Can any one help me with below error

identifier "MRR_Raw_Buf_Free" is undefined this above error coming x.c file

MRR_Raw_Buf_Free is a extern variable declared y.h file

In x.c file i have incleded y.h file, even though why i am getting this error.

can any one help me with this
