Hi, I am trying to collect the data sets for kannada language words for online handwritten character recognition for that i need x,y coordinates(pen down to pen up) in text format i searched a lot but i couldnt find the solution please any one can give a solution for this.Do we need to write MATLAB code for this?

Maybe you can use imfreehand().
