Hi all experts, is there any ways to calculate the diameter,area and centroid of a coin using regionprops command?

You might have to break this down into a few steps.
1. Detect and segment coins. Following examples might help.
Edge Detection
Detect Regions of Texture in Images
Fill image regions in a binary image
2. Find interesting information about these segmented areas. This example using regionprops might help.
