I need to create a tab group in a pre-existing GUI

So I have a GUI that I have made using GUIDE. Now the scope of my project has changed slightly and need to make another page associated with the GUI that I have already built.

I would like to have the two pages separated using a tabs. I am having a hard time figuring out where I should put the tab group in the code that is automatically generate through GUIDE. I used the example provided in the documentation in the opening function but it appears to break it.

If i want to use this approach to i have re-do the entire GUI programmatically and not through GUIDE?
