wavedec in time series format cannot be done

Hi, anybody know why the wavedec cannot be done in time series format? and if possible how to do so?

If the time difference between samples is uniform, then extract the data from the timeseries and pass it in.

If the time difference between samples is not uniform, then you might need to do a non-uniform wavelet; see for example the discussion at https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/29502-toolbox-alpert-transform
