How do I find the space between two lines of text in an offline image of handwriting?

I want to calculate line spacing between every two line. and at the end find it's average. Please help.

I've given simple (i.e. not super robust) code for this in the past. Search this forum for it.

Sir, this code is performing the line segmentation. I wish to find out the space between two lines
